“What strikes me is the inn's blend of history and comfort, apparent in its 250-year-old structure and modern amenities; it's easy to imagine evenings spent by the log fire, sampling local ales after exploring the North York Moors. Staff was friendly and the inn had a traditional pub atmosphere. The location suited my need to visit other locations.
My room was cold upon arrival. The central heating turned off early at 9 PM and did not come back on until 8:30 AM. a soap dispenser in the shower broke apart. These issues soured the stay.
